Partnerships & Investment — Utan Kopi

Corporate & Investment Partnerships

Malaysia's coffee story
needs the right partners
to tell it.

We're building the first premium Malaysian Liberica brand with national and international reach. We're looking for partners who see what we see.

🌿 100% Malaysian Grown
Halal Certified
🦧 Conservation-Committed
Liberica · Arabica · Multi-Origin

95% of Malaysia's coffee
is Liberica. Almost none
of it reaches Malaysian cups.

Malaysia has grown coffee for over a century — yet the world doesn't know it. Utan Kopi exists to change that. We source from farms in Johor, Selangor and Sabah, and we're building the infrastructure to bring Malaysian Liberica to the national stage.

01
Rarest Commercial Coffee Species
Liberica represents less than 2% of global coffee production. Malaysia is one of its last strongholds. This is a category, not a commodity.
02
Nation-first Narrative
In a market flooded with Ethiopian and Colombian imports, a 100% Malaysian coffee story is a genuine differentiator — for retail, airline, and hospitality buyers alike.
03
Conservation Credibility
Our orang utan badge isn't decoration. We're building a donation model tied to every bag sold — partnering with conservation NGOs in Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia.
04
A 3–5 Year Brand-Building Window
Supply of premium Liberica cultivars is limited now but expanding. The brands that establish themselves in this window will own the category before it opens up.

A market ready to be owned.

Malaysian specialty coffee is at the same inflection point Thai and Vietnamese coffee brands crossed a decade ago. The export window is open. Domestic premium is growing. The timing is now.

27M+
International tourist arrivals to Malaysia annually — a captive audience for premium Malaysian goods
RM49–69
Retail price per 200g bag — strong margins with consignment-first distribution strategy
Phase 3
Vision: airline partnerships, inflight service, travel retail — the highest-reach channel for Malaysian brand storytelling

Three doors into
the Utan Kopi story.

Invest
Equity Investment
We are raising a seed round to fund production scale, national distribution, and brand marketing. We're looking for aligned partners who understand FMCG brand-building timelines. Structured under Malaysian Companies Act 2016 with full SHA and investor protections.
Serve
Airline & Hospitality
Utan Kopi is purpose-built for premium service contexts. Our single-serve drip bags are ready for inflight, lounge, and hotel configurations. We carry full Halal certification and can meet institutional supply requirements. This is the channel that tells Malaysia's coffee story to the world.
GLC
Corporate & GLC Programmes
Corporate gifting, Bumiputera enterprise programmes, government tourism initiatives — Utan Kopi is a natural fit for Made-in-Malaysia mandates and heritage brand programmes. We welcome conversations with procurement and CSR teams.

Built to scale.
Structured to protect.

We've designed this raise for serious partners who want alignment, transparency, and a front-row seat in building Malaysia's defining coffee brand.
